Deutsche Welle   联合国人权理事会的职责是在全世界范围内争取和维护人权。但是47个理事成员当中却有一些国家自己就存在不尊重人权的问题。 (德国之声中文网)尽管人权人士的抗议,俄罗斯、中国、古巴还是被选入了联合国人权理事会。就连沙特阿拉伯和越南也获得了足够票数,挤进人权理事会。 人权理事会成立于2006年,它的前身是备受批评的人权委员会。人权理事会应更具备执行力,且在全世界范围内推进维护人权事业的发展。但遗憾的是,47个成员当中总是会包含一些被人权人士列入黑名单的国家。俄罗斯、中国、利比亚、阿塞拜疆、古巴、委内瑞拉等就属于这类国家。 此次人权理事会改选,28个国家参与竞选明年任期将届满的14个成员席位。明年1月1日起,人权理事会将加强理事会的工作,但是理事会成员之间的分化会显著加大。 For full article, click here.
